IN THE SPIRIT OF THINGS | FALL 2024
"In the Spirit of Things" features mysterious tales coming to life as friends tell stories around a campfire. Featuring fireflies, imaginary friends, clowns, ghosts and more, this show has a spooky story for everyone!
REMEMBER WHEN | SUMMER 2024
"Remember When" follows our main character, Grandpa, as he recounts how he met the love of his life in high school. Inspired by the king of rock and roll, we see the Socs and the Greasers compete to rule the school, two characters fall in love and everyone learn new lessons and come together in the end!
THE MOMENT OF CHANGE | SPRING 2024
Following our main character, Serendipity, as she enters a town with a little bit of learning to do, our characters discover, through works choreographed by the dancers themselves, how to play, learn, appreciate, fight, grieve, care, love and celebrate.
MODERN NIGHT AT THE GEM | FEB 2024
We were happy to get to perform Suzanne Rystrati's "Hello" again for Modern Night at the Gem, put on by City in Motion Dance Theater. It was originally performed as part of our Spring 2023 show "Happenstance."

CHRISTMAS AT RESURRECTION | DEC 2023
Our dancers were happy to be guest artists for this extravagant holiday production. We are looking forward to participating again next year.
MALICE & MASQUERADES | FALL 2023
KCDC's production of Malice & Masquerades featured our unique take on the classic, Phantom of the Opera, taking the story from the opera to the ballet.
RAZZLE-DAZZLE | KC FRINGE FESTIVAL 2023
Our second year of Fringe featured a show within a show, as patrons experienced a a razzle-dazzle showgirls show unlike any other!
ART IN THE LOOP | 2023
We were honored with the opportunity to perform in the middle of downtown Kansas City through a grant from Art in the Loop
HAPPENSTANCE | SPRING 2023
Our Spring 2023 performances featured two acts, each one choreographed by a different guest choreographer. Both acts featured themes of communication and connection across time.
DANCE IN THE PARK | 2022
KCDC was invited by City in Motion to perform in this annual event. Dance in the Park is held every year in Roanoke Park and is free for audiences to attend.
HOUSE HAUNTERS | FALL 2022
At Just Off Broadway Theater, KCDC's production of House Haunters took audiences on a spooky & fun tour through a haunted estate full of dancing spirits.
PREMIER | KC FRINGE FESTIVAL 2022
Our first performance as Kansas City Dance Collective featured four works from four different choreographers. It premiered at KC Fringe Festival in 2022 and won best of venue!
