
Megan Robinson is starting her 4th season with Kansas City Dance Collective as a dancer, choreographer, and Social Media Content Curator. Before joining the company Robinson attended master classes throughout LA county and performed with an adult contemporary/ hip hop company. Before moving to California, Robinson graduated from the University of Kansas where she studied Dance and Pre-Physical Therapy. At KU, Robinson became a member of the University Dance Company from the fall of 2013 to the spring of 2016. During that time, she performed with Lane Gifford in her piece The Garden: Adam Eve Tree Snake Apple Exit, as well as with Thodos Dance Chicago in the piece Subtle Passages, choreographed by Melissa Thodos. In the spring of 2016, Robinson travelled to Chicago to perform human, next choreographed by James Moreno for body±New Works in Dance and Technology. While at KU she co-produced a multi-media show entitled Bliss: A Celebration of Happiness Through the Arts. In addition to her professional experience Robinson is also an instructor at Kansas City Ballet.
